The Woman Who Returned Lady Gaga's Stolen Dogs Is Suing The Singer For Not Paying Her

A woman who returned Lady Gaga's stolen dogs in 2021 is now suing the singer for failing to pay the

$500,000 reward she claims was promised. In February 2021, Gaga's two French bulldogs were stolen in

a robbery, which resulted in her assistant being shot. Jennifer McBride turned in the dogs in April 2021,

and she was later found to have a relationship with the father of one of the men arrested in connection to

the robbery. McBride was subsequently arrested for accessory attempted murder and pleaded no contest

to one count of receiving stolen property in December 2022. The lawsuit alleges that Gaga defrauded

McBride by making a promise to pay the reward without the intention to follow through with it. The

lawsuit claims that McBride suffered damages, pain, and mental anguish as a result of not receiving the

promised reward. Lady Gaga's representatives have not yet commented on the lawsuit.
